Greetings and thank you for taking a look at my work! As a bit of a background about me: I am a native of Wilmington, NC and currently reside in Cary with my wife and 2 young children (Ava - 2 1/2 years old and Phineas - just born March 13th). Photography has always played an important part in my life - beginning at an early age while learning from my father (an accomplished photographer in his own rite) the fundementals of darkroom artistry and medium format photography. Following a diverse background in freelance photography, I opened my studio specializing in fine art portraiture and artistic wedding photojournalism. As a photographer, my passion is revealing the extraordinary natue of everyday human emotion - a newborn's intent yawn, the unbridled glee in baby's smile, the gleam in a toddler's eye full of fascination and an emerging personality, shared laughter among siblings, a family's special moment, and often times something as simple as "a day in the life." Whether on location, in-studio, or in your home, I encourage a relaxed atmosphere and fully appreciate the time and time-outs necessary for a great session.
